Alta Gama Rosario 2011 Wine Expo

The date of the 2011 Alta Gama Rosario wine expo is approaching.  It will take place in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, from 23 to 25 June, 2011.  Alta Gama is a grand oenological exposition showcasing local wines and wineries as well as Argentine wines in general, making it an interesting venue for wine lovers and industry professionals alike.

The event showcases promissing premium wines, including luxury sparkling wines, to be tasted by the public and judged by sommeliers on the spot.  All registered sommeliers at the Alta Gama Rosario 2011 will be able to cast a vote to determine the best wine of the exposition.

There will be exclusive and extended hours for traders. During the expo’s last iteration more than 300 professionals visited the event during these special extended hours.  This is where the networking between suppliers, producers, and distributors happens.

Other features of Alta Gama Rosario 2011 include lectures, discussions, auctions, delicacies, art and pleasure.  Attendees will be eligible to win a trip to the Argentine wine producing region of their choice as a loyalty reward for the savvy consumer.

As always, the expo will include the best wineries from around Argentina, as well as renowned speakers and personalities from the world of wine.  The wineries that have already confirmed their participation include: Paladini, Xumek, Familia Zuccardi, Trapiche, Lagarde, Aceites Zuccardi, Nieto Senetiner, Salentein, Chandon, Jean Rivier, Terrazas de los Andes, Norton, and Bodega del Desierto, among others.
